Hi there.

I’m Pete, and I love telling stories.

I’ve been working as a creative in communications for my entire career - 25+ years. I started out as cub reporter covering high school volleyball games in non-air conditioned gyms in Central Texas and since then, have tackled all manner of communications projects:

  • Film + television

  • Video games

  • Online learning

  • K-12 educational content

  • Internal corporate communications

  • Marketing communications

For the past several years, I have been designing custom, gamified learning experiences for big companies, healthcare systems, start-ups and more.

In the end, it’s all different forms of storytelling, and I’m grateful for each opportunity I’ve had along the way.

I’ve become a leader during these years. Whether directing a crew on-set, overseeing a corporate communications team or assembling a crack crew of creatives for a small-but-feisty agency, I’ve learned the importance of assembling the right team for each project, of coordinating work on multiple fronts, and doing what I can to create the conditions for success for each and every member of my team.

Also, that sketch of me on this page? That’s me when I was 23 and serving in the Peace Corps in Southern Russia. I feel like I should fess up to that. There’s a few more gray hairs and wrinkles on the current model Pete.
